How to Design a Personalized Birthstone Charm Bracelet

A birthstone charm bracelet blends the diversity of a charm bracelet with the personal touch of birthstones. Wear a personalized birthstone bracelet as a constant reminder of the people or events you love most, or give a birthstone charm bracelet to a friend or loved one as a gift that shows your thoughtfulness.

Instructions

1. Use charms in the birthstone bracelet that represent the people you love. If you are a grandmother, you can add birthstone charms for each of your children and grandchildren. If you have a close-knit extended family you can add charms for siblings, nieces and nephews. If you have a strong social network, you can create a birthstone charm bracelet with a stone for each of your closest friends.

2. Diversify shapes of the charms for added beauty and significance. A personalized charm bracelet can have birthstones that are round, oval, square, heart-shaped and more. You can choose shapes based on style alone, or you can choose shapes that represent each stone. For example, you may want to create a square birthstone charm for all the males on your bracelet and circle charms for all females.

3. Engrave names or initials on the back of each birthstone charm. Alternately, you can add a solid gold or silver charm next to each birthstone charm and engrave the name represented by the adjacent charm on these.
