How to Hook Up a Stereo & VCR to a Satellite Receiver
Although stereo systems do not provide the full surround-sound experience that surround-sound receivers do, it is still possible to improve the audio output of devices like satellite receivers and VCRs. When using a satellite receiver, you can hook up a VCR in between the receiver and a television. This allows you to record all your satellite programming. Once set up you can connect the VCR to your stereo system. Doing so allows you to hear both the VCR and satellite content in full stereo.
