A PlayStation 2 connects to an Orion TV's composite jacks.

Orion television sets feature different audio-video jacks for connecting a variety of devices, including a PlayStation 2 gaming console. The PS2 comes with a connection cable that has a proprietary plug on one end to hook up with the game console and three composite AV plugs on the other for attaching to the Orion television. Setting up the PS2 on the Orion should take less than five minutes.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the rectangular plug on one end of the PS2 cable into the port on the back of the gaming console.

    • 2

Insert the red, white and yellow plugs on the other end of the cables into a set of AV input jacks on the back of the Orion TV. The jacks on an Orion TV are located in the lower right-hand corner.

    • 3

Connect the DC plug to the jack on the back of the PS2 and plug the other end into a wall outlet.

    • 4

Turn on the PS2 and the TV, then press the "Input" button on the Orion remote control repeatedly until the PS2 image appears on the screen.

Tips & Warnings

  • Hooking up a PS2 to an Orion television is no different from connecting the gaming system to any other type of television with composite cable inputs.

  • Plug in the AV cables for the PlayStation 2 and television before connecting the electricity.
