How to Create a System Partition
A hard drive partition is what an operating system recognizes as a separate drive and uses for data storage. A single physical hard drive can contain one or multiple partitions, and partitions are useful for dividing up data or creating multiple virtual hard drives on the system. Creating a partition with your operating system is a simple task, thanks to the Disk Management utility.
