DIY Cheap Fall Wedding Centerpieces
The changing colors of fall foliage create a beautiful atmosphere for weddings. When planning a fall wedding, incorporate the fall colors into your centerpieces to treat your guests to the natural fall beauty. Centerpieces do not have to cost a lot of money, and you can make your own with just a few basic supplies from a craft store. Making your centerpieces yourself will be a rewarding experience because each centerpiece will show your love and devotion.
Things You'll Need
- Large clear glass vases
- Apples
- Gold or silver ribbon
- Fall leaves or dried grass (real or faux)
- Short and wide clear glass bowls
- Rocks or glass stones
- Floating candles

Buy large clear glass vases. The vases can all have the same proportions, or they can be a range of sizes to make each table unique.

Fill the vases with red, yellow and green apples. These colors work well together because they symbolize the hues of fall. Leave the stems or leaves attached for visual appeal.

Tie a gold or silver ribbon around each vase. Tie this ribbon into a bow.

Scatter fall leaves or dried grass around the vases. Use actual leaves or purchase faux leaves and grass at a local craft store.
Floating Candle Centerpiece

Purchase short and wide clear glass bowls that are at least 2 to 3 inches in height and at least 6 inches in diameter.

Line the bottom of the glass bowls with rocks or glass stones.

Fill the glass bowls with water. Scatter fall leaves on top of the water.

Place floating candles on top of the water. Choose candles that match your wedding theme or colors that represent fall such as red, orange and yellow.
