How to Get G1 Jazz in "Transformers: The Game"

“Transformers: The Game” is a video game that was released in 2007 based on the movie “Transformers.” Jazz, an Autobot from the movie, is an unlockable character in the game. In addition, a code can be used for Jazz that allows him to use his original Generation 1 (G1) appearance rather than the movie version. This code cannot be used until after Jazz is unlocked. Once entered, you can switch the appearance of Jazz using an option in the bonus menu of the game.

Instructions

1. Complete all of the Challenge missions in “Transformers: The Game.” This will unlock Jazz as a playable character for the Autobots.

2. Go to the Main menu after Jazz is unlocked.

3. Press "Left," "Up," "Down," "Down," "Left," "Up," "Right" on the controller while still on the Main menu. This is the code to unlock the G1 appearance of Jazz. This code works for every console version of the game.

4. Select “Bonus” from the Main menu.

5. Select “Generation 1” to turn on Jazz’s G1 appearance when he is used. This will also cause any other character with an unlocked G1 appearance to use it in place of the movie appearance.

6. Select Jazz in any gameplay mode. You will use the G1 version of Jazz automatically.

Tips & Warnings

• In the Xbox 360 version of “Transformers: The Game,” Xbox Live can completely circumvent unlocking everything. Buying “Transformers: Unlockables” for 500 Microsoft points will automatically unlock everything in the game. This includes characters and their G1 appearances. Once downloaded, players only need to turn the G1 skins on in the bonus menu to use them.
