How to Access a PC With a VNC Password

VNC is a virtual network.

VNC stands for virtual network computing. VNC software, such as tight VNC and other VNC programs, allow you to remotely connect to a personal computer from another computer connected anywhere on the Internet. If you have a VNC password on your computer, you will be able to connect to it only if VNC software has been set up on the computer and the software that was present when the password was created is still there.

1. Set up the same VNC software that was used on the local computer on the remote computer. The software will have to be installed and then configured for any particular needs.

2. Find the PC with the password. You should be able to search remotely by an IP, MAC address or something else that delineated that PC from other computers across the Internet.

3. Connect to the PC with the password by selecting it from the VNC software after you have found the computer. Enter the password and click "Connect."
