Messaging on mobile phones is a popular feature used by many wireless subscribers. In addition to text messaging, subscribers of the AT&T Wireless network can use picture messaging to send pictures from their mobile phones. Many mobile phones, including those available from LG, have built-in cameras allowing users to always capture that special moment. This combined with AT&T's picture messaging feature enables users to share these moments quickly and easily.

Instructions

      Press the "Menu" button from the phone's home screen and select "Messaging" from the main menu.

      Select "New Message" or "Create Message" from the Messaging menu.

      Enter a message in the New Message screen. This message will be sent along with your picture and is optional.

      Press "Insert" to choose the picture to send.

      Select "Graphic" or "Picture" from the options presented and press "OK."

      Select the graphic or picture to send by scrolling to the file. Press "Insert" to add the file to your message.

      Select "Send To" and scroll to a contact in your phone book. To enter a number not in your phone book, select "Options" and "Enter Number." Use the keypad to enter the phone number for the recipient including area code.

      Press "Send" to send the message.

Tips & Warnings

  • Most LG phones allow a single picture message to be sent to multiple recipients. To send a message to more than one contact, select additional contacts from your phone book before sending the message.

  • Depending on your wireless plan, additional charges may apply for sending text and picture messages from your phone. Check the terms of your wireless plan for additional information.
