1
Brush your hair well with the hairbrush to remove any tangles.
-
2
Pull your hair back into a ponytail at the midpoint on the back of your head. Two options for this ponytail include making the ponytail very tight and sleek, or making the ponytail loose with tendrils escaping around your face.
-
-
3
Take a small section of the ponytail and curl it into a spiral curl with the curling iron. After curling this section, pin it loosely to your scalp near the base of the ponytail with a bobby pin.
-
4
Continue curling small sections of the ponytail in the same fashion and pinning each section separately around the base of the ponytail to create a sloppy bun on the back of your head. The sloppier the better--go ahead and let the sections of hair face different directions with hair sticking out at various angles.
-
5
Spray the sloppy bun generously with hairspray to finish the style.
