How to Remove Egg Stains From a Building
Finding out your house or building has been egged can be aggravating. The sun can cook the eggs, causing them to become extremely stuck onto the building or home. Even after you have removed the eggs, you later may find stains on your home or building where you missed some spots. Fortunately, egg stains can be removed with basic household materials. But don't delay, as they will leave a rotten smell and become more difficult to remove. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Vinegar
- Hot water
- Bucket
- Liquid dish soap
- Thick terry towel
- Ladder
- Stiff brush
- Garden hose

Mix equal parts of vinegar and hot water in a bucket and then add a couple drops of liquid dish soap to the solution. Place a thick terry towel into the bucket and allow the towel to soak up the solution.

Place the towel on the egg stain and lean a ladder against the towel to hold it in place. Keep the towel on the stain for two hours to allow the solution to fully soak into the stain. You may need to remoisten the towel in the solution if it dries out.

Remove the ladder and the towel from the area, then use a stiff brush to scrub the egg stain until it is completely gone. Rinse the area thoroughly with a garden hose.

Tips & Warnings
Hydrogen peroxide can be used instead of vinegar, but it may stain the building.
A board can be used to hold the towel in place instead of a ladder.
If the stain is very difficult to remove, you may need to pressure wash it and then repaint the area.
