How to Install Windows 98 Virtual PC
Installing Windows 98 to your virtual PC lets you use the Windows 98 operating system without sacrificing the modern conveniences afforded by a more current OS. This is possible through the Virtual PC program from Microsoft, which allows you to create any number of virtual computers within your regular computer.

Click \"Start,\" open \"Programs\" and open the \"Virtual PC\" software.

Select the virtual machine upon which Windows 98 is to be installed and press \"Start.\"

Insert the installation CD into the computer and press any key to boot from CD.

Type \"format C,\" press \"Enter\" and press \"Y\" to prepare the drive.

Restart the virtual PC and click \"Start computer with CD support.\"

Type in \"x:\\setup,\" replacing \"x\" with the drive letter of your CD drive. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation of Windows 98.
