How to Switch the Main Hard Drive if Your Computer Has Two

Computer hard drives run on a single data channel called an IDE port. When there are two drives installed in the computer, there will be a primary drive called the "Master" and a secondary drive called the "Slave." This sets data transfer priority between the drives. Changing this requires that you change the settings on the back of the hard drives from within your computer.
