How to Get a Visa to India
Since October 2007, the Embassy of India in Washington, D.C. and its consular offices have outsourced their visa application process to an independent contractor, Travisa Outsourcing, Inc. If you would like to apply for a visa for travel to India, you must submit your application through Travisa Outsourcing. The company has offices in various locations. You must use the company's homepage to determine the specific location that has jurisdiction over your state of residence. Travisa Outsourcing only processes visa applications; it does not approve them.
