How to Make a DVD Using Nero 6
Nero 6 is an older version of the popular digital media software, but one that is still quite capable. It allows you to manage CD and DVDs on your computer. You can create things like music CDs, slideshows or data discs. You can even make your own DVD from video files on your computer. As long as you have a recordable DVD disk and a writable DVD drive, you can learn how to use Nero 6 to make your own personal DVD.

Insert the blank DVD into your computer.

Start Nero 6 and go to the "Photo and Video" tab.

Select "Make your own DVD Video."

Select "Add Video Files" from the options on the right-hand screen and select the video file you wish to make into a DVD. You can navigate through your computer folders to select the correct video.

Click "Next" at the bottom of the screen. A blank DVD can hold over 4 gigabytes of information and the bar at the bottom of the screen will tell you how much of the available space is being used to make the DVD.

Enter in the DVD title you want by typing it into the "Header" space. You can also choose the menu screen picture by selecting one from the options on the right-hand menu. Click "Next" when finished.

Select "Burn to" and select the DVD drive from the list. You can also name the DVD by clicking on the "Volume Name" option.

Click "Burn" to create the DVD.
