      Open Internet Explorer and click on the "Tools" and then "Internet Options" buttons.

      Click on the "Connections" tab and then click on "LAN Settings."

      Click on the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox and enter the IP address and proxy number of your proxy into the window.

      Click the "Bypass proxy server for local connections" check box if you don't want to use the proxy for local IP addresses.

      Click the "OK" button two times to apply the settings changes.
