How to Close My MSN Internet Access Account

It's not hard to cancel your MSN Internet service.

An Internet Service Provider (ISP), Microsoft Network (MSN) also offers email service bundled with its dial-up and high-speed Internet connection packages. To protect your computer, MSN offers a security suite that includes a firewall to block other individuals from accessing your computer. If you decide to switch to another Internet service or you no longer want to use MSN, you can close your MSN Internet access account by contacting MSN's customer service department.

Instructions

1. Call 800-386-5550, MSN's customer service department.

2. Say "Cancel" when prompted by MSN's automated system. You will be connected with an MSN customer service representative.

3. Speak with the customer service representative about canceling your account. Give him your name, MSN email address and the credit card number associated with your MSN account.

4. Write on a piece of paper the confirmation number the representative will give you after the account cancellation process is complete.
