How to Use Mod Podge Glue
Mod Podge isn't just a glue, it is a sealer and finish. It can be used for many different craft projects, from decoupage to puzzle preservation. Mod Podge, by Plaid, can be used on a variety of different craft mediums, which is why it is so versatile. One of the most common uses for Mod Podge is as a glue. Once you know how to use Mod Podge as a glue it will be your go-to crafting adhesive.

Prep the surface you are adhering your item to by roughing it up with sand paper. No need to do a lot of sanding, just enough to texturize the surface. If you are gluing paper to paper there is no need perform this step.

Use a clean paint brush to apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to the surface you sanded. You also need to paint a thin layer on the item you are gluing on to your surface.

Place the item being glued on to the prepped and glued surface. Smooth out bubbles and creases with you fingers. Keep smoothing the surface of the two bonded items for one to two minutes to ensure no new bubbles form.

Leave the project sit until the glue dries. You can also place the item in front of a fan on the low setting to speed up the drying process.
