Acrylic paints water based and are a popular medium among professional artists, amateur artists, and students learning about art. There are several different brands, colors, and consistencies of acrylic paints, and there are even acrylic brushes that are to be used with that particular medium. Spread the clothing articles out on a flat surface.

Spray or pour heavy-duty detergent on the acrylic paint.

Rub the fabric together until the paint lifts from the fabric.

Rinse the fabric under water that is the appropriate temperature for that particular fabric until there are no bubbles left.

Spray the fabric with a pre-wash stain remover.

Wait 10 minutes, then launder as usual.
