1
Rinse your empty soda can thoroughly with water. Place it upside down on a dish towel to dry.
-
2
Pierce your soda can carefully with your scissors and cut a slit up the side of the can. Cut away the top and bottom parts of the can. You now have a sheet of aluminum.
-
-
3
Cut four ovals out of the aluminum. Make them a variety of sizes: they just have to be a size that you are comfortable with dangling from your ears.
-
4
Pick up one oval with your round-nose pliers. Twist the oval around the pliers so that it becomes a cone or cylinder shape. Repeat with your remaining ovals.
-
5
Pierce the top of each cone with a safety pin.
-
6
Open the loop at the bottom of each fishhook earring base with your pliers. Push it through the hole in each cone or cylinder.
-
7
Place two cones on each opened loop. Squeeze the loop shut with your pliers.
