Prayer is a type of religious practice that involves a connection with a higher power. While some people choose to prayer alone, others pray as part of a group. Most of the major religions use prayer in some sort of way. A prayer request form offers an individual an opportunity to have others pray for them and to give them strength in a time of need.

Submit a prayer request. Once people begin praying for an individual, it's important for that person to take action. A prayer can manifest itself in all sorts of different ways, and the power of prayer may give someone the strength to make a change in their life.

Pray for others. Joining a prayer group allows you to become part of a community. Community members support each other in times of need and offer you an opportunity to develop strong and positive relationships. Praying for others may also help you get the answers you need to any issues you may be facing.
