How to Burn a Music CD With Nero 6
CD burning is a capability that most, if not all new PCs come with. There are many programs that will enable a user to burn a music CD, but one of the programs most commonly used is Nero 6. If you're looking to burn a music CD with Nero 6, you'll find that the process is actually pretty simple and only requires a blank CD-R or CD-RW disk.

Click "Start > Programs > Nero > Nero 6." Nero 6 will then open.

Click "File > New" to start a new compilation. Click the "Audio CD" icon.

Click the "New" button and an empty compilation window will then appear.

Navigate to the folder where your music files are located on the right-side of the screen.

Select the audio files you want to put on the disc and drag them to the left side of the screen where the empty compilation is located. Release the cursor and you will now see the files on the left side of the screen as well as on the right-side. Repeat the process as necessary until you have all the songs you want on the disc.

Click the "Burn Compilation" button and then click the "Burn" button to start the burning process. Wait for the process to complete, which may take several minutes.

Click "OK" when the "Burn process was successful" dialog box appears. You have now burned a music CD.

Tips & Warnings
Close other open programs before burning. Doing so can speed up the burning process and potentially help to avoid burn errors.
