Instructions

    • 1

Heat 6 ounces of water to boiling in a kettle or pan.

    • 2

Place 1 to 2 tsp. of dried damiana in a tea pot with a built in strainer or a tea ball. Use a tea ball by unclasping the hinge and opening it. Place the tea inside and then place the ball in your tea cup.

    • 3

Pour the boiling water over the dried damiana. Allow the brew to steep for 3 to 5 minutes depending on how strong you prefer it.

    • 4

Pour the brewed tea out of the tea pot and into your cup or remove the tea ball. For best results, do not reuse the spent herbs to brew consecutive cups of tea.

Tips & Warnings

  • A tea ball is an empty cylinder with holes in the sides and a hinge in the center so it can be opened. The holes in the sides of the tea ball allow water to flow through. You can purchase one at any kitchen store or tea supplier.

  • Use appropriate caution with children and pets when pouring boiling water.
