How to Use Torrent Software
A torrent, or BitTorrent, is a file with a .torrent file extension that must be opened with a BitTorrent program or BitTorrent client. When you run a torrent file with a BitTorrent client, the program will automatically connect to other users across the Internet who are running the same torrent file and download pieces of the underlying data that the torrent file is set up to share. Torrents can be used to share many types of data such as images, documents, songs, videos and programs.
