Program your keyless entry remote yourself.

Remote keyless entry systems come standard with most Honda Civic models after 1998. Losing a remote, breaking one or just needing an extra can lead to an expensive visit to a locksmith or mechanic. This is unnecessary, since a new remote can be purchased online and you can do the programming yourself in less than five minutes. This will save you both money and time. Programming your own remote is a very simple procedure.
