Delete history and cookies on Firefox.

Firefox, a popular Web browser, offers a way to clear your cookies and history. This is handy when you are surfing the Web and do not want anyone to be able to trace where you have browsed. Be forewarned, however, since clearing your cookies will delete some settings that are site specific.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open your Firefox browser.

    • 2

Hit "Tools" in the main menu bar.

    • 3

Scroll down and hit "Clear Recent History ..."

    • 4

Choose the time range that you want to be cleared in the drop-down menu in the dialog box that appears. You can also choose everything.

    • 5

Hit the arrow next to "Details" so it is pointing down. Put a check mark next to the "Browsing & Download History" and "Cookies" options.

    • 6

      Hit the "Clear Now" button.
