How to Use a Grappling Hook in Mercenaries 2

The grappling hook can be useful in "Mercenaries 2" for boarding helicopters.

"Mercenaries 2: World in Flames" was released in 2008 on PS2, PS3 and Xbox 360. The game allows gamers to play as one of three characters from the first "Mercenaries" game: Mattias Nilsson, Chris Jacobs and Jennifer Mui. In the game, players have the ability to use a wide variety of weapons and accessories. One of these accessories is the grappling hook--a popular tool in many action video games. With some practice, the grappling hook can become easy to use on the Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

Instructions

1. Aim the grappling hook at a helicopter or other desired location like you would a gun.

2. Keep your aim steady to avoid missing the object.

3. Press the "Triangle" button to launch the hook if you are playing either of the PlayStation versions of the game. Press "Y" if you are playing the Xbox 360 version.
