Crochet five chains (ch) using color A and your G/6 hook and join with a slip stitch (sl st). For round one, make three ch and, repeat six times from this point, work a half double crochet (hdc) stitch into the circle and make one ch. Join with a sl st in the second ch of the ch three. Place your stitch marker on this stitch.
Each round will begin with three chains and end with a slip stitch in the second chain of the chain three.
