How to Clean a Virus from Windows 32
Windows 32, or WIN32, is a folder on your hard drive responsible for basic operating system functions. As long as a computer is working properly, the average user will never need to do anything with it. If a virus infects Windows 32 though, it can be particularly damaging, attacking core system files and compromising computer functionality. Clean the virus from the folder before it does more damage.

Boot up your PC in safe mode. To do this, press the F8 key on your keyboard repeatedly as the computer starts. If your machine starts normally despite the Windows 32 virus, you can safely skip this step.
-
2
Run Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool. To do so, click your Start menu and then open the "Run" dialogue. Type "MRT" followed by the Enter key on your keyboard. This security tool comes pre-installed on Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 computers. If you cannot run it for any reason, you'll need to download a new copy from the link in Resources (below).
