Instructions

    • 1

Fill a bucket with warm water and dish detergent. Once the water is nice and soapy, dip your scrub brush into it and scrub the mower deck. Grass stains that are recent should easily come off the mower deck using this method. If the stains are still clearly visible, move on to step 2.

    • 2

Spray degreaser onto the mower deck and let it sit for five minutes. Use a scrub brush to scrub the degreaser thoroughly on the grass stains.

    • 3

Use a hose to spray the degreaser off. If you notice grass stains are still evident, repeat the process.

    • 4

Dry the mower deck thoroughly with a towel.

Tips & Warnings

  • Powered laundry detergent works in place of dish detergent.

  • Before cleaning your mower's deck remove gasoline from the gas tank and disconnect the spark plugs, then stand the mower on its side.
