Play zero-G basketball in "Dead Space."

Released October 14, 2008, by EA Redwood Studios, "Dead Space" is a third-person survival horror video game. Players control an engineer named Isaac Clarke through the abandoned USG Ishimura in a search for Isaac's missing girlfriend. After navigating the dangers of space and dismembering mutant creatures, it is relaxing to release some steam and play a little zero-gravity basketball (known as "Z-Ball").

Instructions

    • 1

Jump to the lighted platform to begin a game of Z-Ball. A ball will launch out of one of the four baskets at the end of the room.

    • 2

Jump to nearby lighted platforms to boost your score multiplier.

    • 3

Grab the ball with your Kinesis Module. Take care not to grab any floating body parts instead.

    • 4

Aim and release the ball at the lighted basket. If the ball bounces off the rim, grab and the release the ball once more.

Note that in later levels, square plates will periodically cover the baskets, requiring correct release timing.

    • 5

Make as many baskets as possible before the timer reaches zero.

Tips & Warnings

  • Jumping from platform to platform will increase your score multiplier but is not necessary. Alternatively, simply stand on the closest platform and play from there.
