How to Play Pool Online in Yahoo
Yahoo! Pool is one of the games under the Yahoo! Games interface. It consists of 8-ball and 9-ball game types, and follows the rules of real pool. The available levels of play include "social," "beginner," "intermediate" and "advanced." You can create your own pool table and wait for an opponent to join, or join a table that is already created.

Go to the Yahoo! Pool website (see link under Resources). Enter your Yahoo! ID and password, then click on the "Sign In" button. (If you don't have an account, click on the "Sign Up" option first, to create one.)

Click on the "Play Now" button. Enter the confirmation code and then click on the "Continue" button. Locate a table to play on.

Left-click your mouse to move your cue stick around the cue ball. Click on the right mouse button and hold it down to prepare your shot.

Continue to hold down the right mouse button and drag your mouse to determine the strength of your shot, which is shown in the power meter on the right side of the screen. Release the right button to hit the cue ball.

Take turns until you or your opponent finishes the game or makes an illegal move, such as pocketing the cue ball. Chat with your opponent at any time by typing in the "Say" box, and then pressing the "Enter" key on your keyboard.

You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard to line up a shot.
