With so many Christmas cards coming through the mail, a wreath-shaped Christmas card holder may be the perfect thing for keeping those cards in a neat, organized and easily accessible place. Best of all, this project is simple enough for the whole family.

Instructions

    • 1

Paint the wooden clothespins using craft paint and sponges. Half the pins should be evergreen and the other half green. If you are working with younger children, you may wish to have them change into clothes that they can get messy, as even most "washable" paints may leave a residue.

    • 2

String the clothespins and beads. Place the craft wire through the spring part of one of the green clothespins. Next, place a red bead onto the wire, followed by an evergreen clothes pin and a green wooden bead. Repeat this pattern until the wreath reaches the desired length.

    • 3

Cut the wire with wire cutters and twist the two ends together.

    • 4

Attach a wired Christmas bow to the top of the wreath. Attach the cards as you receive them to the clothespins and watch the wreath expand.
