Speed dialing makes calling easier.

Speed dial allows you to call someone by entering just one or two digits in a telephone keypad. Speed dial is especially helpful for young children and elderly people. Using speed dial is as simple as 123.

How to Program Speed Dial on Your Telephone

1. Call your local telephone provider and add speed dial to your account. You need to subscribe to speed dial in order to use this optional calling feature.

2. Dial *74. After the broken dial tone ends, enter a digit from 2 to 9. Immediately enter the 10-digit telephone number (including area code) you wish to assign to this digit.

3. Listen for the confirmation tone. To enter another number, hang up and repeat Step 2.
