Instructions

    • 1

Saturate any stained areas on your waterproof snowboarding gloves with an aerosol prewash treatment.

    • 2

Machine wash the gloves with powdered detergent in warm water. Use a gentle cycle.

    • 3

      Tumble dry on medium heat.

    • 4

Touch up the gloves with a warm steam setting on your iron. This will help restore the water beading fabric treatment on your gloves' outer surface, REI advises.

Tips & Warnings

  • Read the special care instructions on the gloves before washing.

  • Do not use liquid soaps or special waterproof soaps when washing Gore-Tex or other waterproof gloves. This can damage the material.

  • Do not use chlorine bleach.

  • Some gloves are only hand-washable. Do not machine wash gloves if the manufacturer recommends against it.

  • Some gloves are not meant to be put into a dryer. Drip dry those gloves according to their specific instructions.

  • Do not twist or wring the gloves; you'll risk damaging their shape.
