How to Ship Plastic Bottles Containing Liquid Without Leaking

Whether you are shipping plastic bottles containing liquid for a new business or just sending a treat to a family member, it is crucial that the bottles arrive at the intended destination with all the contents intact. Packaging this type of item securely is the most important part of shipping it safely.

Things You'll Need

• Plastic or Zip-lock bag
• Tape
• Bubble Wrap
• Cardboard Box
• Packaging Peanuts

Instructions

1. Put the plastic bottle with the liquid into a plastic or zip-lock bag. Tape the bag along any seams and secure it tightly around the top of the bottle.

2. Roll bubble wrap around the bottle, so it is completely covered. Cover each seam with tape.

3. Fill the bottom of the box with an inch of packaging peanuts. Place the bubble wrapped bottle into the box. Add packaging peanuts around the bottle and fill them to the top. Seal the box with tape at every seam.

Tips & Warnings

• If you are shipping more than one bottle with liquid, put each bottle in its own plastic bag.
