      Open iTunes on the computer where your songs are stored.

      Connect the iPod Nano to the computer using the USB cable provided with the Nano.

      Select your iPod Nano in iTunes by clicking it under the "Devices" section on the left side of the application.

      Select the "Music" tab in the main window of the iTunes screen.

      Check the box next to "Sync Music" and choose either to sync "Entire music library" or "Selected playlists, artists, and genres."

      Click "Apply" to apply your settings and start the transfer of songs to the Nano.

      When the transfer is complete, click the "Eject" button next to the Nano in the "Devices" section and disconnect your iPod from your computer when prompted.
