How to Make a Paper Pistol in a Simple Way
With the paper craft of origami, you can create your own zoo animals, flowers, airplanes and beautiful paper decorations. Kids can have fun with it, too--if they have a hankering to play shoot-'em-up, paper pistols won't do much harm. They're easy to make and only require two pieces of letter-size paper.
Instructions
-
-
1
Lay one piece of paper horizontally on a flat surface.
-
2
Fold the paper in half length-wise, from top to bottom.
-
-
3
Fold in half again.
-
4
Fold in half again. You should now have a long, thin strip.
-
5
Fold in half from left to right. Crease and unfold.
-
6
Fold the left side down so that it points at 90 degrees.
-
7
Fold the left side inward at the center crease.
-
8
Fold the right side down at 90 degrees so it is the same length as the left side. Crease and unfold the right side.
-
9
Fold the right side over the left side so the right "handle" matches up with the left on the back side of the paper, using the creases you already made. This completes the handle of the gun.
-
10
Repeat step 1 through 5 with the other piece of paper to create the barrel of the gun.
-
11
Insert the barrel through the handle at an angle. Point the open flap side of the barrel toward the handle. Put one of the flaps in between the two sides of the handle. Push it all the way through so it stays in place. This completes your simple paper pistol.
