1
Tie a length of yarn around the lower left-hand peg on your weaving loom. Wrap the yarn around this peg and up to the right side of the upper left peg. Wrap around this and move yarn from the left side of this peg to the right side of the second lower left peg. Continue to wrap in this figure eight style until all pegs have been wrapped, working from left to right and passing between top and bottom on each wrap.
-
2
When you reach the right end, work back in the direction you came with more figure eight wraps. The only peg that will not be wrapped twice is the upper right peg.

3
Hold the yarn tightly on the side of the loom or wrap it around an anchor peg for security (the anchor peg will stick out of the side of the loom).
-
4
Pick up the crochet hook or loom hook and hook it through the bottom loop on the bottom left peg. Pull the loop up and over the peg to the inside of the loom and drop the loop. Work all the way down to the right side of the loom on the bottom and then work the top pegs in the same way from right to left.
-
5
Re-wrap the pegs so that each one has two loops again and repeat the weaving process until your work is finished.
-
6
To remove the work from the loom, use your hook to slide the last loops off of the top pegs and onto the top of the corresponding bottom pegs. Now there will be two loops on the bottom and none on the top. Bring the lower loops up and over the higher loops as you would to weave until there is only one loop left on each lower peg. Work from left to right, lifting the first two loops and pulling loop B through loop A, then C through B and so on down the row until all loops are gone. Make a slip knot through the final loop to secure it.
