1
Cut two rectangles out of cotton fabric in Christmas prints. The rectangles should be approximately four inches by six inches in size.
-
2
On one short side of each rectangle, fold the top seams over by a quarter inch and a second fold of a quarter inch, and pin them down. Sew a seam to hold the folded edge in place.
-
-
3
Position the rectangles with right sides facing, and sew a seam along the three sides that you have not sewn yet. Position the seam approximately a quarter inch in from the edge on all sides.
-
4
Fold the sewn bags right side out, and iron them to flatten out the seams.
-
5
Fill the bags with approximately half a cup to one cup of potpourri, depending on the size of the potpourri pieces. Try to find potpourri that has a Christmas scent to it, such as pine or frankincense. Tie the bags closed with a ribbon, and tie a bow.

Tips & Warnings
Instead of printed fabric, try lace with red and green potpourri on the inside and coordinating red and green ribbon ties. This will allow the scent to come through more fully and add an elegant look to your Christmas sachets.
