How to Make a Mudslide Alcohol Mixed Drink

Cool and creamy, a mudslide combines cream with coffee and liquors.

Resembling muddy waters cascading down a mountain, a mudslide combines coffee and Irish cream liquors with cream or ice cream for a satiny-smooth drink combination, ideal for an after-dinner drink. Served blended or over ice, this beverage can serve as a cocktail or a dessert.

Things You'll Need

• Highball glass
• 1 oz. vodka
• 1 oz. coffee liquor
• 1 oz. Irish cream liquor
• 1 oz. cream
• Ice
• Blender
• 1 c. coffee ice cream
• 16 oz. wine glass
• Whipped cream

Instructions

1. Fill a highball glass half full with ice.

2. Combine 1 oz each of vodka, coffee liquor, Irish cream liqour and cream over the ice in the glass and serve.

3. Alternatively, prepare a blended, frozen version of the mudslide by blending 1 oz. Irish cream liquor with 1 c. coffee-flavored ice cream until smooth. Pour into a 16 oz. wine glass, and top with whipped cream.
