Really Simple Syndication documents, commonly referred to as RSS feeds, provide a great way to receive updates about various interests, such as news, video, technology or audio from different sources to your personal computer. However, you may need to delete RSS feeds in Outlook 2007 if you find that they are slowing down your PC, or if you simply find them annoying. To delete specific RSS feeds, you must modify your Outlook settings. Similarly, you may delete a folder that is associated with a specific RSS feed by expanding the navigation pane in Outlook 2007.

      Open Outlook 2007, click "Tools" and then select "Account Settings." The account settings dialog box opens.

      Click on the "Mail Setup" tab and then select "Data Files."

      Choose the "RSS Feeds" tab, click on the feed to delete and then select "Remove." Select "Yes" when prompted to confirm if you would like to delete the feed.
