Things You'll Need
- Wet pumice stone
- 1 cup white vinegar
- Clean rag
- Rubber gloves
- Toilet brush

Pumice Stone Method

Put the rubber gloves on.

Turn off the water supply to the toilet.

Scrub the calcium stains away with a wet pumice stone, working in a circular motion.

Wipe any remaining residue with a clean rag.

Turn on the water supply to the toilet.

Flush the toilet two or three times to remove any remaining dirt.
White Vinegar Method

Pour one cup of white vinegar into the toilet; let it sit overnight.

Scrub the inside of the toilet bowl using a toilet brush.

Tips & Warnings
To prevent recurring calcium buildup, the white vinegar method can be used on a weekly basis.
Metal in the water can adhere to the surface of the toilet bowl and cause permanent calcium stains.
