How to Calibrate a Printer to Print CD Labels
You can print a wide variety of documents and covers with your printer, including the circular labels placed on the top of compact discs (CDs). In order to print a CD cover you need a program that specializes in the printing of CD covers. You can purchase such a software title either online or through an electronics store. As long as you have the CD label software you do not need to perform any additional printer calibration.

Connect the printer to your computer via a USB data cable. Power on the printer then launch the CD label software.

Remove the paper currently housed in the printer and slide in the CD label paper. The paper is the same size, however, it has sticky, circular labels you can remove from the paper and press onto a CD.

4
Click the printer pull-down menu and choose the printer you have connected to your computer. Select the number of CD labels you want printed and click "Print." The CD label is printed onto the special CD paper and is ready for you to place on the CD.
