Downloading music from RealPlayer to your MP3 player is easy.

RealPlayer is a widely used media player. It is available for free download, and allows you to watch video in many formats, as well as listen to MP3 music files. Downloading songs from your RealPlayer library onto your MP3 player is easy. RealPlayer is compatible with iTunes, so if you have an iPod, downloading songs will be easy. The first time you use iTunes, the program will recognize RealPlayer and import songs into the library. If you're not using an iPod, downloading songs will still be a breeze.

Instructions

    • 1

Connect your MP3 player to your computer. Your MP3 player came with a USB cable that allows you to transfer music to and from your MP3 player. You're probably already familiar with using it, because you wouldn't have any music on your MP3 player if you weren't. Just plug one end of your USB cable into your MP3 player and plug the other end into your computer's USB port.

Open your MP3 player's folder on your computer. To open the folder, open the "Start" menu, go into "My Computer," and then click on your device's icon. It will be listed under "Devices With Removable Storage." When you double-click it, a folder will open.

Open your RealPlayer program and access your music library.

    • 4

Click on the song you want to download onto your MP3 player, and then drag it into your MP3 player's folder. You can select more than one song by holding "Ctrl" while you click on the songs. You can then drag all of the song into your MP3 player's folder at once. Wait for the transfer to complete. Depending on how many songs you're downloading, this could take a few minutes.

Close RealPlayer and your MP3 player's folder and remove your MP3 player from your computer. To safely remove the MP3 player, click on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon on the bottom-right of your desktop's toolbar. Select your MP3 player, and wait until you're prompted to remove it. You can now unplug the USB cable from your computer without fear of losing any files or corrupting your MP3 player's contents.
