Set your games list to private on the Xbox dashboard.

The default option for a Microsoft Xbox 360 allows your Xbox Live friends and others you have played against on the online service to view the games you have played, as well as the achievements you have earned for each title. Through a relatively simple process, you can set this list to private so that only you or your friends can see it.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on an Xbox 360 controller by holding down the guide button in the middle. The ring of light around this guide button should flash for a few seconds and then settle in the first quadrant to show this is the first player.

    • 2

Hold down the guide button again for only a second and then release. A blade should pop up in the middle of the screen for navigation.

    • 3

Scroll two blades to the right to the "Settings" menu. Choose "Profile" and press the "A" button.

    • 4

Move down to "Edit Profile" and press "A" again. On the next screen choose "Privacy Settings" and press "A."

    • 5

Scroll down to "Game History" and enter this by pressing "A." Choose from three different settings -- "Everyone," "Friends Only" and "Blocked." This first option is the default option that allows anyone to view your games list. The second option will make your games list semi-private by only allowing your Xbox Live friends to view your played games. The last option will make the list completely private where no one else can view it.
