Just as with similar cookware, bits of food items can stick on a griddle pan when you remove the food from the pan. Removing these particles can be a challenge as you do not want to scratch the surface of the pan. Combining two common household items will loosen these particles from the surface of your griddle pan. Once loose, the items can be wiped away from the pan as from any standard dish.   • Table salt
  • Soft dish scrubber

Instructions

      Pour an equal amount of distilled white vinegar and table salt onto the griddle pan's surface. The exact amount you use will vary based on the size of the griddle pan. The liquid should cover the entire surface of the pan.

      Heat the griddle pan on medium heat for about ten minutes.

      Pour the vinegar and salt down your sink drain. Do so carefully so that you do not get burned.

      Scrub the griddle pan with a soft dish scrubber. This should remove any remaining particles left on the griddle pan.

      Inspect the griddle pan and repeat steps 1 through 4 if necessary.
