      Plug the Ethernet cable into one of the "Out" ports on your Comcast high speed Internet modem.

      Insert the free end of the Ethernet cable into "WAN" port on your Sony PS3.

      Power on the Internet modem and your Sony PlayStation 3. In a moment the PS3 menu loads onto the screen.

      Select "Settings," then choose "Network Settings." From the Network Settings choose "Internet Connection Settings, then click "Yes."

      Choose "Wired Connection," followed by "Easy." The PS3 connects to the Comcast high speed Internet modem.
