On the third day of celebrating, Hindus take part in "the main Diwali festival or Festival of lights," according to the Diwali Festival website. There are fireworks and lots of candles lit in houses across the country. During Diwali, Hindus "seek divine blessings" of goddesses and exchange gifts with friends and loved ones.

1
Purchase a plain gift box that does not have any writing or embellishments on it. The color is up to you, but a white gift box is a good start. You can purchase gift boxes from local craft supply stores. You can also purchase them from department stores and online vendors.

2
Add glitter and jewels to the face and sides of the gift box by drawing designs with glitter glue pens and attaching faux jewels with white craft glue. One idea is to create polka dots with the glitter glue pens and to disperse the faux jewels in the remaining white space. Allow the glue to dry.
