iPhoto is an image manipulation program designed for use on Apple computer. iPhoto can help you organize add effects to your pictures. If you are using iPhoto, you can also burn your photos to a CD while using the program. This allows you to make back-up copies of your photos to keep or give to friends.

  • Blank CD
  • iTunes
  • Apple computer

Instructions

      Insert a blank CD into your Apple computer's CD-burning drive. Close the drive door. The blank CD will show up as a folder on the Apple computer desktop.

      Open the iPhoto program. Click on the album you wish to burn to disc. The albums are located on the left-hand side of the screen.

      Click on the "File" menu at the top of the screen and choose the "Export" command. Click on the "File Export" tab at the top off the "Export" window. Click on "JPEG" as your format.

      Select the "Use Filename" and "Use Extension" options. Click on the "Export" button. Browse through the computer folders until you locate the blank CD folder. Click on it to select it and click on "OK." Quit iPhoto once you have finished exporting.

      Double click the Blank CD folder on the desktop. Click on the "Burn" button to burn the photos to the CD.

Tips & Warnings

  • While in iPhoto, you can adjust the size and the name of each file to maximize the space on the disc and make the photos easy to find.

  • Make sure you place the photos you want to burn in an album so you can add them to the CD folder. You can not add the photos one by one
