How to Backwash an Intex Pool Pump
The Intex pool pump has sand inside that filters the tiny dirt particles out of the water as it passes through. The sand can get dirty and will need to be backwashed when the pressure gauge reads seven to 10 pounds higher than the start-up reading on the gauge, which varies from pump to pump. Some gauges will have a red zone, which means pressure is too high and alerts you to backwash the pump. Does this Spark an idea?
